About Us

Our registrants are a unique group of professionals that are trained to provide laboratory, cardiology and x-ray services. Their primary focus is in rural healthcare and are a vital part of the rural health landscape across the province of Alberta.


Mission Statement

To ensure that our registrants provide safe, ethical, and competent services to the public; through the exercise of the regulatory powers granted to the College in the Health Professions Act and the by-laws of the College.

The most recent edition of Wavelengths' can be viewed on the website under Wavelengths' for CLXT Registrants.


The approved Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics documents are now available. They can be viewed in the Key College Documents and Forms under the Registrants tab.


The Annual Educational Conference was held on April 22nd. If you were a registered attendee your Certificate of Attendance has been sent out to you via email. Thanks to all who attended for making this event a huge success!


If you attended the AGM this year, you will receive one (1) credit. This credit is not tied to the Educational Conference, which is three (3) credits. You will need to record and reflect on both of these items separately in your Learning Plan. Refer to the webpage for the most up-to-date information.
