About Us

Our registrants are a unique group of professionals that are trained to provide laboratory, cardiology and x-ray services. Their primary focus is in rural healthcare and are a vital part of the rural health landscape across the province of Alberta.

 

Mission Statement

To ensure that our registrants provide safe, ethical, and competent services to the public; through the exercise of the regulatory powers granted to the College in the Health Professions Act and the by-laws of the College.

The most recent edition of Wavelengths' can be viewed on the website under Wavelengths' for CLXT Registrants.

The approved Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics, 2015 Annual Report and Financials and the Bylaw documents are now available. They can be viewed in the Key College Documents and Forms under the Registrants tab.

We would like to extend many thanks to our outgoing council members Sheila Joyce and Anna Steblyk. Thier continual effort and the hours that were put into helping to achieve the goals of the ACCLXT has been invaluable. These Councillors were a wealth of knowledge and wisdom and will truly be missed. We would like to extend a warm welcome and congratulate our 2 newly elected Councillors Nicole Stewart and Jill Ducherer.

The ACCLXT Council takes great pleasure in announcing that the 2016 recipient of the Barb Mikulin Award is Nichol Roy. Visit the Awards page to read why her colleagues nominated her.
